For the 13th year in a row, the Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Association hosted the Burning Bright for Breast Cancer fundraiser event raising over $33,000 with over $3,000 just this year alone! Swimmers took time out from their regular practice to show support for breast cancer research by keeping a “torch” burning in the pool for the duration of the event. The “torch” was passed from swimmer to swimmer in a relay-type format and signified the club’s belief that the fight against breast cancer is still alive.
