Athletes with Differing Abilities

Synchronized Swimmers With Differing Abilities

Synchronized swimming has welcomed athletes with disabilities (AWD) for over 20 years. Due to the buoyancy of the water, your child can enjoy a cardiovascular workout while enjoying music and expressing their artistic flair. MSSA is proud to offer a one-on-one AWD program to cater to individual needs and abilities. All disability types, special needs and genders are welcome!

Currently, there are swimmers with the following conditions participating in synchro programs worldwide:

–          Amputees

–          All types of intellectual disabilities

–          Down Syndrome
